Mission Statement

Our mission statement is to provide support and give aid to orphans in Uganda. Care for them, show them love and teach them about God.

Vision Statement

Our Vision statement is that no child in our orphanage should be without necessities in life regardless of their life circumstances, we hope to build them a school, give them shelter and a hospital.

About us

Mission of Orphanage is a Non-Profit Organization founded in 2019 by young adults in Norway who are striding assiduously to achieve a better future for the children of Uganda who are in a vulnerable situation. The Organization was founded by Pastor Eunice from Norway and she has a team that works with her, both in Norway and Africa. The organization seeks to promote, advocate and protect the rights of orphans in Uganda, and also to take care of, and provide their basic needs.

Poverty in Uganda

UNICEF estimates over 2 million orphans in Uganda. One out of every seven children in Uganda is an orphan, with many subsisting in usually-wretched 600+ orphanages, where abuse and neglect is common.

Our farm

We adopt the old saying of 'Give a man a fish - he can eat for a day. Teach the man to fish - he can eat for a lifetime' has such meaning here. We are setting them up for a lifetime of nutritious food.

Basic Necessities of life

We aim to care, support and protect vulnerable children by focusing on their immediate survival needs such as food, water, shelter and clothing. Read more

We also place emphasis on giving the child a long-term educational training, which would help him to either secure a self or paid employment. Read more
